  News and Events:

1.  Q - Is the Fast Lube center part of the All Hands Car Wash?
A - Yes. The Fast Lube center is owned and operated by the same company. And did you know? Each car serviced in our Fast Lube center gets a free car wash!

2.  Q - Do you sell gift certificates?
A - Yes. Gift certificates can be purchased at the car wash facility. They are available in denominations of $10 and $25. They can be used to pay for any product or service with the exception of Tobacco, Alcohol and Lotto products. We also sell pre-paid car wash cards good for 3 car washes and the savings can be over 20%. Each of these are great gift ideas for Holiday gift giving, birthdays, promotions and the like.

3.  Q - Should I be concerned with my vehicles paint getting damaged while being washed at All Hands Car Wash?
A - No, Not at all! As our name says, you car is washed "by hand" using soft-cloth hand-mitts after the car is first pressure sprayed to remove dust and dirt. No equipment or brushes touch your cars surface. We use the exact amount of soaps and cleaners to assure your vehicle is washed without scratches.

4.  Q - How often should I wash my car?
A - It depends. Personal preference, where you drive your car and where you park your car are just a few of the variables that you must take into consideration. When cars are subjected to containments such as pesticides, sand and industrial fallout (airplane and train residue), we recommend that your car be washed weekly to protect your cars delicate finish and to maintain its' value.

5.  Q - How long will it take to get my car hand waxed at All Hands Car Wash?
A - Depending on the size of your vehicle, it can usually be performed in about 30 minutes. This type of Express Hand Wax will protect your vehicles finish for about 2 to 3 months. An Exterior Detail costs more in time and money, but will last much longer than the ordinary hand wax, usually 6 to 9 months.

6.  Q - How can I tell if my vehicle needs hand waxing?
A - Clear coat paints make it more difficult to determine when your vehicle needs waxing. It may need attention far sooner than its appearance would indicate. When in doubt, there are two simple tests to try to determine when your vehicle needs waxing: First, wad a clean, dry terry cloth, and rub it along a clean upper surface of your vehicles hood or trunk. If you hear squeaking, that's a sure sign that the vehicle needs waxing. Second, run your fingertips along the clean upper surfaces of your vehicles hood and trunk. If you detect rough spots or feel drag, you also know your vehicle needs waxing. The best course of action is to get on a regular maintenance schedule. On your next visit, we can suggest a schedule that is right for your vehicle.

7.  Q - What are the different waxes that are applied to my car as its' going through the tunnel?
A - Depending on the car wash purchased, your car will go through a process where three different waxes could be applied; Rainbow wax, Polish wax and Sealer Wax. These waxes act as paint protectors and gloss enhancers as well as protect you car from UV rays, dirt and grime in-between hand waxing. No extra time is needed for it to be applied.

8.  Q - Can I take my convertible through the car wash?
A - Yes, convertible tops are no problem. All cars are washed by hand with environmentally-safe soaps and chemicals.
